Our History

On 28th August, 2000, Unity International Schools was established at Abeo House, Kabayi Island, Gurku, Mararaba, Nasarawa State VIA Abuja, FCT. It commenced with the following classes Pre-Nursery (i.e. pupils of less than Age 3), Nursery 1-3 (Ages 3 -5), and primary 1-6 (ages 6 – 11).

On 1st September, 2008, we commenced operations at the Headquarters of the Schools located at Ezekiel Atanda Complex, Gbagalape Road, Government Secondary School, Aso Bye-Pass, Nasarawa State VIA Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria, Africa. The School covers the following classes: Pre – Nursery; Nursery 1-3; Primary 1-6; Junior Secondary School 1 – 3 and Senior Secondary Schools one (i.e SSS 1). The Headquarters has four blocks with a plan of 3-storey building each. It is planned to accommodate a Polytechnic in the nearest future.

Organization

The School is organized by the Governing School Board headed by the Chairman who is currently non-executive. The Board draws up strategic plans for the School as well formulates policies needed for carrying out activities and programmes of the School by the Management. The Management is of two folds

Nursery Schools

This is comprised of the Governing School Board Vice Chairperson who is an Executive Director, Head Teachers, Assistant Head Teachers and Heads of Departments

Primary Schools

This is comprised of the Governing School Board Vice Chairperson who is an Executive Director, Head Teachers, Assistant Head Teachers and Heads of Departments

Secondary Schools

This is comprised of the Governing School Board Vice Chairperson who is an Executive Director, Principals, Vice-Principals, and Heads of Departments.
